How to use Childcare Vouchers to pay for school items

01 Enabling your child’s account

If your school allows online payment using Childcare Vouchers (CCVs), the school will need to enable this payment method in your child’s online account.

Once your child’s account has been enabled for CCVs, it will be clearly identified for you when you next log in.

The balance of CCV funds available and any allocated values is displayed in the pink banner:

BALANCE is the amount of CCV funds available.

ALLOCATED is the amount of CCV funds set against an item for which you have not yet completed the purchase (for example if you have placed an item in your shopping basket and allocated CCV funds against it, but have yet to checkout).

02 Selecting eligible items

Not all items that the school make available for purchase online can be paid for using CCVs.

Items the school have flagged as being eligible for CCV payment are identified on screen.

When you add a CCV-eligible item to your basket you will be given the option to allocate CCV funds towards the payment.

03 Paying for eligible items

When adding a CCV-eligible item to your basket, allocate available CCV funds towards the cost of the item. To do so select “Add Option”, and then “Confirm”. If you don’t wish to use CCV funds, simply click “Skip and pay with card”.

If selecting to pay using available CCV funds, simply enter the amount you wish to use from the available funds and select “Confirm”.

If there is a remaining balance to be paid, this will be displayed for you. Simply select “Confirm and add to basket” to continue adding other items or to checkout.
